2012 Triumph Bonneville America – Caribbean Blue and Crystal White For sale is a beautiful, example of this much sought after Light Cruiser. This was bought in June 2013 as a Cat D damaged bike and has been carefully repaired. The damage was to headlamp rim, Handlebars, RH Mirror and indicators, Right Footboard, screen, RH Pillion Peg, Both silencers were scraped and a were replaced. The forks were bent and new ones fitted. The frame has been checked on a jig and is perfect.The front mudguard was damaged and was repaired and resprayed.Most parts were supplied new because this was a new model at the time of acquisition. Since then spot-lights. Scottoiler, luggage rack and panniers were added. The panniers have been modified to fit onto the mudguard mounts to get rid of the throw-over leather straps, which normally join them together. There was a mark on the pillion backrest so it was replaced with new. There was a small click on the seat and it was beautifully recovered by SaddleCraft over this winter. The front tyre had a mark on it so a new one was fitted 1700 miles ago. The pictures show a Triumph Quick Release screen fitted. This is included in the sale and is satisfactory but it has a home made blade fitted. The new owner can acquire a new blade from triumph if the requirement is for it to be an original part.
